Standing Orders
Monthly donations by way of standing order would provide us with a reliable source of income, enabling us to better plan the continuation/expansion of our services. A small sum on a regular basis can make a huge difference.
To set up a standing order you have two options:

- Set it up online. We use mycharity.ie which provides a totally secure system for processing donations by debit (laser) or credit card. In addition to a one-off donation you can also use this system to quickly and easily set up a monthly payment for a fixed amount, and you can even specify a fixed time period for your monthly payments.
If you choose the online option for your standing order you will receive a record of all monthly payments and you can cancel it at any time by logging into your mycharity.ie account (generally you have to write to your bank to cancel a standing order set up the traditional way).
The Community Foundation of Ireland
A special thank you to the Community Foundation. Through their generosity, Care Local and our community collaborators in the Stoneybatter area, developed an Older Men’s Committee, focusing on the needs of older, isolated men. The Older Men’s Drop-in Centre resulted from the input and leadership of these men.
Dublin Bus grant given for elder abuse awareness
With the funding received from the Dublin Bus Community Programme, Care Local, in partnership with DIT and the Dockland Senior Forum, will produce a video focused on improving the attitudes between young and old.
